How to setup IPTV on VLC Media Player
After downloading VLC player and installing please follow the below instruction to increase the VLC cache and buffer time for better performance with IPTV.
1- Open Preferences from the Tools menu "You can use (ctrl+P)on Windows or (Command+P) on Mac.
2- In the next windows choose the "All" radio button from "Show settings"
3- Open FFmpeg settings, It's located in "Video codes" subgroup.
You can find video codecs in "Input/codecs" category.
4- Disable Hardware Decoding from the right side of menus.
5- Back to "Input /Codecs" scroll down to the end of the list and change Network caching (ms) from 1,000 to 3,000.
6- Scroll up and change MTU of the network interfaces to 1500 for Cable or 1498 for ADSL and click Save in the bottom.
7- Now close the VLC player and open it again this will let VLC to take the changes.
Now please open the IPTV URL and check the difference.
